i need some little help, i dont know anymore what else i can do...i have a hk500gt. the problem is that the tail constantly breaks out when giving hard pitch. that's usually okay, because it's very hard work for the tail, but, i easily managed to get this to work on several hk450's with much much cheaper equipment (everything plastic, kds800, good servo and  though).this one has a full metal tail, carbon servo holder, spartan gyro, and a mks ds8910. basicly the best you can get... and[...]

The CX and ones sold by HeliDirect is metal with grub screws for that worry free flight. I also change my tail to metal gear CX for same price as plastic HK. I'm running this ESC on one of my 450 http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9299&Product_Name=TowerPro_H40A_Brushless_Speed_Controller_ I also have Turnigy Plush ESC on two other 450s and the TP works as well or better for $9 and you can program it with the Turnigy programming card too. It really works great even with a pretty hot motor. The only down side is the leads are a little short on the battery end but that's easily fixed with some additional 14ga wire.

I'm wondering...will those washers for the hk450 on the main fraime will fit the screws of the 500 frame?is there a kit for the 500?

I have the HK 6 channel TX with USB cable.  I am unable to connect with my PC running windows XP.  Following instructions in the online manual, I have downloaded the FS-CT6DRIVER.EXE, and FS-CT6SOFTWARE.EXE.  Both seemed to install OK, but my transmitter does not seen to connect.  Can you help me?

Ouch, I hope you are alright now.  Yeah, with Choppers or Airplanes, make sure the motor isn't driving anything before you check your transmitter, Rx, and ESC.  Lesson learned though.
