i need some little help, i dont know anymore what else i can do...i have a hk500gt. the problem is that the tail constantly breaks out when giving hard pitch. that's usually okay, because it's very hard work for the tail, but, i easily managed to get this to work on several hk450's with much much cheaper equipment (everything plastic, kds800, good servo and though).this one has a full metal tail, carbon servo holder, spartan gyro, and a mks ds8910. basicly the best you can get... and[...]
The CX and ones sold by HeliDirect is metal with grub screws for that worry free flight. I also change my tail to metal gear CX for same price as plastic HK. Why trust a heavy wear critical area to plastic when metal is same price.QUOTE=Burnsiyesterday i build a new hk450today 2mins of hoovering and the hk spins and go down...this crappy part was good for 2min only. damn, why i dont bought a copterx.

I'd recommend you to do bench test without the blades on, let the 500 motor (looks like the not so serious motor from HK?) run for a battery or two see if it still runs well.my brand new one stopped working all of a sudden during bench test. never came alive again.your setup looks beautiful : )
I have a problem with the turnigy e5006t motor slipping away on the motor mount from the main gear whenever i power up. I've been using washers but the washers are a little big for the screws. Should i just go back to using no washers? I only had trouble once with no washers and i think it it might have been because of me flipping idleup too early because of my non programmable transmitter had preset idleup. Suggestions? Thanks
it sounds to me like your gears are slipping... i can be pretty non-obvious... I had the front gear that is driven by the main gear break away from shaft... looked like nothing was wrong, and the two little gears for the belt were still rock solid. check that out and let us know what you find!
The link between the baldeholder and the mixer is very short. So by adjusting this link you are getting very close to the limits of this link to get +5 degrees out on the main blades. Any other link which you can adjust?
