Yup, the HK uses 1.5mm for frame whereas the CX is Philips. Good hex is way better than Philips, no slipping.Did your SE V2 come with the cheap plastic blades? If so did you ever use it?

Does the new alloy HK450GT still suffer from failure of the tail rotor drive shaft/bearing. The original HK one on my plastic 450 failed after a dozen flights. (replaced with Align unit- no probs) What model of Trex 450 should be used for parts for the HK450GT?Thanks.C8

Hey, thanks for the reply.  I'll try harder to get the bolts out of the mixing arms.  So far I only tried a gas heat gun that I bought for heatshrink.  I might see if I can get better results with a soldering iron.  That's the number 1 issue I'm concerned about right now.But I should at least make it clear it's been flying, and I think pretty darn well, with the old arms.  I just had to limit the collective pitch range to -11 - +11, and the cyclic pitch movement is[...]

Hi ....need your help!!!I'm trying to setup the best throttle curve for my HK450GT, and ....i'm getting way too much headspeed ....for a regular curve(0-25-50-75-100). I'm using 0-22.5-32-45-60 as a throttle curve, and i'm hovering at around 37-45 ...at 5-6 degre of pitch, I use HeliTack(Iphone version), and i'm getting constant reading around 2700-2800 headspeed.Today, i try to setup the governor in my ESC ....to see if it will be a difference... again .....flat throttle curve at 30, governor[...]

I have just assembled an HK450GT and after my first flight I am really happy with it but I have noticed that the main Rotor Grips are a bit sl*ggy on the spindle shaftnot on the dampeners but on the bearing/thrust bearing part of the head.Any ideas......

Finally,after replacing the tail rotor shaft with the original align part(HS1203) I tried without adding the washers and everything looks spinning freely!I'm gonna leave it this way then.Hopefully nothing will go wrong!Pete.

Hi,I bought the kit HK450 (PRODUCT ID: HK-450BB) and now I find many variations: HK450MT, HK450GT, HK450TT, HK450Pro and HK450V2.Spares are exhausted for the version  HK450BB. But they have spare parts in stock in the other versions.How I can be certain about the compatibility of the parts?¿I can buy parts for my HK450BB of other versions?I've found some compatible spares, but I need to understand what is the difference.Thanks,
