yeah, but thats cos if they simply say the two servos are the same, no one would ever buy the HXT900 :ptower pro wouldn't make two almost identical servos, its just not worth making small differences.
I have had remarkable service from my set of HXT900 servo's and frankly they have no business working as well as they do for the price they cost!
I now have 11 of them in service between my glider, 2 planes and HK450 never had one fail.
I was warned that after a few crashes I would be replaceing them due to the plastic gears and the weaker nature of the servo in general, but my HK450 has been rather badly beatup and rebuilt more than a few times now, my last crash was into a[...]
I was just installing a set of new Hextronik HXT900 9g servos into an airplane when I noticed that the connector leads are now almost twice as long as the previous versions were (I've always thought that they were to short for most applications).
If this was the only change I would have been a happy camper. But upon closer examination I noticed that they changed everything about the trusty, reliable, servos that everyone has come to love.
The case is slightly different[...]
I purchased a HXT2835 (380S) 2700kv Brushless Inrunner in July. Today, it stopped working. Shaft now only clicks and will not fully rotate when throttle applied. I barely used this motor as it has been winter here in Chicago for last 5 months. Is there any warranty on this motor, will HK give me a discount on a replacement ?
Thanks,
Ken
Having the USA warehouse is nice, but youdon't stock the things I use the most, e.g. Turnigy Nano-tech lipos, HXT servos, Turnigy ESC/motors, Evotite CA460 glue to name a few. I know the inventory must be kept limited, but I'd have thought at least some of the items I mentioned would be avaialble, especially the batteries and servos. I hope this improves... so far the USA warehouse has nothing I use frequently.
