i need some little help, i dont know anymore what else i can do...i have a hk500gt. the problem is that the tail constantly breaks out when giving hard pitch. that's usually okay, because it's very hard work for the tail, but, i easily managed to get this to work on several hk450's with much much cheaper equipment (everything plastic, kds800, good servo and  though).this one has a full metal tail, carbon servo holder, spartan gyro, and a mks ds8910. basicly the best you can get... and[...]

The CX and ones sold by HeliDirect is metal with grub screws for that worry free flight. I also change my tail to metal gear CX for same price as plastic HK. there is 2 sets of washout arms that are plastic on the head that is all ,may sure you grease all bearings and thrusts on tail and head and check every bolt with loctite,my tail had no loctite on any bolts

I'm interested with this engine but would like to have some decent review on it. Anyone who has experience with this engine care to share your experience..good and bad..The CDI unit comes with plastic case or aluminum case?I'm thinking to put this engine on yak 55 50ccc from peak model.

I also have the GT and after some flying around my swash plate ball is loose.  I can see about 1mm movement when collective is moved.  Some people in Rcgroups also reported tha same problems as yours, one even had a crash due ball coming out during flight. I have done the same when I recieved a checked-before-shipping faulty celled 3s pack.   BUT BE WARNED... as I was.. when I suggested doing this on another forum some years ago. Soldering the tabs on the cells can lead to too much heat traveling down the tab and melting the very thin plastic membrain inside the cell. Unless you realy know what your doing with a soldering iron "re-packing" lipos can be dangerous.

Yup, the HK uses 1.5mm for frame whereas the CX is Philips. Good hex is way better than Philips, no slipping.Did your SE V2 come with the cheap plastic blades? If so did you ever use it?

This is pathetic.. I have a v2 with the plastic blades and 2 sets of FG blades in the spares bin and another set of FG blades on the way from HK. Now I shouldn't use any of these? I'm just going to learn on this thing (if it's even possible with all these useless parts) and then get myself an Align which will hopefully not have unusable useless parts.   I want something that works, not something that is cheap and will work only if I keep pumping money into it.
