Turnigy - R/C Electronic Switch : crazy4volvo Turnigy - R/C Electronic Switch : crazy4volvo
Hi,according to the wiring diagramhttp://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/catalog/e-switch.jpgthis switch works on the "high side", so most probably you can't use it to ground the coil wire. I don't know the Zenoah ignition circuit, but if there is something like a CDI module similar to those found in bike engines, you should switch off the power supply of the CDI module instead. In one of the posts here I read that if the brown switch wire is connected to the common ground, the other wire can[...]

Video section option? : vasy1 Video section option? : vasy1
I see that on video section there is "Like" button, which is totally cool.I also think there should be "don't like" one as well, as there are more then a few time wasters. Maybe there also should be a category, 10 least liked videos :)Maybe to save space, expire (remove) top 10 or 20 least liked videos every month?

Corona: support for 35Mhz B-band? : martin123 Corona: support for 35Mhz B-band? : martin123
Hi, I have a Futaba FF7 for 35 Mhz B-Band. afaik, the B-band frequencies are only available for RC in a couple of countries. (e.g. Germany), so it is not really a wide-spread standard.   my sender is on channel 188 (35.880 MHz). are any Corona synth Rx compatible with that?   thanks and BR, martin

I've now built my portable ground station that houses all the gear neatly and all is working well.  The station runs on a 3S Turnigy 3000mah lipo.  The DVR  runs off a Turnigy 3A switching reg at 5V.   The station carries the patch antenna and all leads are permanently connected. No need to discconnect anything after flight.  Will post a pic soon.   I replaced the vid rx which has had a problem so everything is ready for maiden FPV.   I traced a fault in[...]

From someone who has done both Burnaby, floating through the air on a nice warm clear day, even though it's a short time, beats scuba by far unless maybe you're diving in the South China Sea which is beautiful and has great visibility (150+ feetat least it was in the 60s). Just say "Don't listen to the MOD to go to full throttle" which incidentally happens to be correct based on the MOD's given scenario. DO READ what was suggested which is bird is far away from any danger to anyone and that full throttle usually gets the bird up high out of trouble rather than a panic shutdown.Of course throttle kill if bird is out of control and crash is imminent which usually is not the case. Newbies crashes often are unpwr birds falling out of the sky thanks to our driving[...]
