The 28-47 9turn is the recommended motor to use with the 5 blade 2.68" EDF ducted fan unit.I need to know the amount of amps it will draw when the fan, with this motor, is producing the 750 to 950g thrust it is said to be able to produce.Also, what voltage battery is most often used with this motor to produce such results?

HK released that they have a 700 sized heli on the way. I take it this would be a nitro heli... would HK offer a .90 engine to go with it, along with the other necessary parts you need for a nitro heli (Governor, tank, etc)??? I am pumped for the new heli releases.Mike

I want to replace the E370 motor on my Quan Li F4U Corsair with a Turnigy brushless motor. I cannot find E370 motor specs on any of the websites which sell the E370 nor are specs available at the E-Flite website.   This seems strange since this motor is provided on many RTF and ARF scale airplanes.   If someone knows where I can find the E370 specs could you post it here or if someone has made this conversion could you advise what Turnigy motor and prop cobination you[...]

I just bought 2 of these motors and 2 Plush 40 ESC's. I was wondering if anyone has had these motors running on 4S for any length of time, and how are they holding up? I did some test runs with an APC 10X7E prop, and I got max static readings of about 24 amps max, and around 367 watts on high timing. The motors seem just fine, barely even got warm, and the ESC was cool to the touch. This seems like the perfect combo for what I'm planning to use it on, but I was wondering about the motor[...]

I'm guessing your packs are 3S packs? Check the total pack voltage at the battery wires, not the balance leads. If you get a reading of somewhere between 11.1 and 12.6 volts, most likely there's a faulty solder on one of the balance wires. If the total voltage is only 7.4-8.4 volts, either there's a dead cell, or a bad connection.
