60 is high temperature to touch, I don't think you could hold your hand for more then a few seconds. It is like sticking your hand under only the hot water in your sink, go try it :) (on the other hand, don't). Check with infrared temperature monitor or stick the temperature probe supplied with the charger into the power supply and monitor the temperature.

Transmitter Voltage : Bullitt5094 Transmitter Voltage : Bullitt5094
I have a Futaba 9C radio that I've been using in FM 72mhz mode with the Zippy 3C Lipo upgrade batter from HK. http://hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6955 This puts the Transmitter voltage over 12v when fully charged. Will there be any problem with the X8 transmitter module at this voltage? http://hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8286

Once they had got the hang of it just send them down to the local hardware/electronics store to pick up a $15 soldering iron and they were in business.. as the old saying goes teach a[...]

QUOTE=W3FJW RonNewer ones are supposedly said to be charged ok at 5C, but I am a bit leery of this as I believe it's more a marketing thing. Personally, I wouldn't charge at more than 3C but I usually charge at 2C./QUOTEI dare not go beyond 2C rate.
