MKS DS530 Servo Gear Replacements - Nope!! : OnTheSnap MKS DS530 Servo Gear Replacements - Nope!! : OnTheSnap
I stupidly purchased the DS530 servos without checking that replacement gears are available.  I don't see them on the HK website or on the www.mks-servo.com.tw website.I feel like an idiot.  What good is a servo without replacement gears?

I'm running this ESC on one of my 450 http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9299&Product_Name=TowerPro_H40A_Brushless_Speed_Controller_ I also have Turnigy Plush ESC on two other 450s and the TP works as well or better for $9 and you can program it with the Turnigy programming card too. It really works great even with a pretty hot motor. The only down side is the leads are a little short on the battery end but that's easily fixed with some additional 14ga wire.

The 28-47 9turn is the recommended motor to use with the 5 blade 2.68" EDF ducted fan unit.I need to know the amount of amps it will draw when the fan, with this motor, is producing the 750 to 950g thrust it is said to be able to produce. Also, what voltage battery is most often used with this motor to produce such results?

Dear Robert Youens,I want to ask you something about the Regulator - MegaBEC 8:Why is input voltage 7.2v only? Is it really the utilize BEC? Why does it need the heat sink? I think it is only normal regulator.

50-60A is overkill with sacrificing weight for no gain. These 40A are better choices when they come back in stock. I picked up three of the plush and have been happy with it on the 500e, 2836 and 2215. Sentry is good too but costlier.TURNIGY Plush 40amp Speed ControllerTURNIGY Sentry 40amp Speed Controller

Either cut little slits into the film or like me throw it away altogether. Use a long pin to move the sliders (mini dip switches). You can actually feel the switches toggle, movement is only 1 to 2mm.

Doesn't appear to be a fast process guys. US still isn't complete & stocked, same as DE. I've heard about one in France as well as AU, but none of them are an overnight process. Too many hoops to jump through with customs and the various taxing districts. So, I don't think I'd be saving my coins in anticipation of a warehouse near you.
